How to link dataset with S3 or google drive or google storage

I have setup remo docker on google cloud VM and it working fine. My problem is, I don’t want to keep my data on my local machine but on S3 or google drive or google storage. I see two options to upload images in remo 1. “Use local data” and 2. “Upload data”

#1 - link dataset with data on my machine, so original images remains on my machine.
#2 - upload images in remo, so original images remains on docker

but I like original images to remain on S3 or google drive or google storage. So if someone could help me to figure out how can I have images on S3 or google drive or google storage?

Hi @moti_prajapati!

You have two options:

  1. you could mount google drive (or S3, we haven’t tried) and install remo in that location. This would be similar to what we do to have Remo running in Colab - https://colab.research.google.com/github/rediscovery-io/remo-python/blob/master/examples/google-colab/tutorial_pytorch_instance_segmentation.ipynb

  2. We offer a more integrated support for S3 in our paid Remo Team version

Hope this helps

Best
