I can't run remo inside a Docker

I’m trying to run remo inside a Docker with the following Dockerfile:

FROM continuumio/miniconda3:4.8.2

ENTRYPOINT [ "/bin/bash", "-c" ]

RUN apt-get update \
    && apt-get install --no-install-recommends --no-install-suggests -y build-essential libpq-dev libvips-dev \
    && rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*

RUN conda install pip && pip install remo==0.4.24

RUN echo "Y" | python -m remo_app init

CMD python -m remo_app no-browser

But I’m receiving the following error:

[-] Installing vips lib
$ sudo apt-get install -y -qq libvips-dev
ERROR: failed to install vips library

You can try to install vips manually with the following command:
sudo apt-get install -y -qq libvips-dev
and then run again `python -m remo_app init`

Notice that I’m installing libvips-dev on the first RUN command.

Hi @fernandocamargoti!

We are planning to release Docker support and provide Docker images at some point in October.

We will probably check the issue then and get back to you.

Hi @fernandocamargoti, we have finally released a Docker version of Remo.

You can checkout the installation steps here: https://remo.ai/docs/docker-installation/
